CAVU Escape Lounge

Rainey & Best supported the delivery of a full strip-out, reconfiguration, and high-spec fit-out of the new CAVU Escape Lounge at Edinburgh Airport. Delivered under a fast-track programme, this £3 million project was completed within the demanding environment of a live, high-traffic international airport—requiring meticulous planning, close coordination, and clear communication to avoid disruption to ongoing airport operations.

Acting on behalf of the Main Contractor, Our role involved full project management involvement, liaison with all key stakeholders to ensuring compliance with design and Edinburgh Airport’s stringent health, safety, security protocols. We also provided comprehensive commercial administration support, including issuing invoices, cost tracking, subcontractor account management, and leading final account negotiations with the client to secure cost certainty and contractual closure.
